AEIS tutoring

AEIS maths, taught around your child’s actual gap.

Weekly online lessons for P2 to P5 children preparing for the AEIS or S-AEIS mathematics paper. One hour or 1.5 hours, every Sunday, from $500 a month. We talk before anything is arranged.

From $500 a month

$500 is the floor for Primary to AEIS mathematics. A 1.5 hour weekly lesson costs more than a 1 hour lesson. The exact figure is confirmed on the call, before you commit to anything.

Who this is for

  • Children in P2 to P5 preparing for AEIS or S-AEIS Primary mathematics.
  • Families already in Singapore, or arriving within a term.
  • Parents who want the real gap identified before paying for months of tuition.

If your child is in secondary school, or needs English rather than mathematics, this is not the right fit. Tell me and I will say so on the call.

What a month looks like

  • Four lessons, one every Sunday, at the same time each week.
  • One hour or 1.5 hours per lesson, whichever you choose.
  • Online, so the lesson happens wherever your child is settled.
  • Local syllabus mathematics: the bar model, word problems, and the way the paper words a question.
  • Homework built around the gap we found, sized to finish without a fight.

How it works

Four steps, and no booking calendar to fight with.

  1. 1

    Send a message

Your child’s level, the test you are aiming for, and the timeline you are working to.

  2. 2

    Free call

Twenty minutes on what has been tried, what the paper asks, and whether tutoring is the right move at all.

  3. 3

    First lesson

A diagnostic lesson to find the actual gap, not to sell you a programme.

  4. 4

    Weekly lessons

Every Sunday after that. The earliest start is one week from the day you first ask.

What I will not promise

  • A school place. MOE and the school decide that.
  • A test score. Your child sits the paper, not me.
  • That tutoring is necessary. Sometimes the answer is a clear plan and no lessons.

If tutoring is not the right step, I will tell you on the first call. I would rather lose the work than sell you lessons your child does not need.

Questions parents ask before starting

Can I book a lesson time on the site?
No. Tutoring places are arranged in conversation, not through a booking calendar. The Sunday time has to work for both sides, and I confirm it with you directly before anything starts.
How soon can we start?
One week from the day you ask, if a Sunday slot is free. That is the earliest, not a promise that a slot exists.
Is online good enough for maths?
Yes, if your child can work on a screen with pen and paper beside them. For younger children, a parent nearby helps. If online is clearly wrong for your child, I will say so on the call.
Do you teach English too?
No. This is mathematics only. If the English paper is the bigger problem, the CEQ guide explains what that route needs.
What does $500 a month cover?
Four weekly lessons at one hour each. A 1.5 hour lesson costs more. Exam registration, school placement, and English tuition are not included.

Not sure whether your child needs this?

Send one message with your child’s level and the test you are aiming for. I will tell you whether tutoring makes sense, even if the answer is no.

If you are still working out the route, read the AEIS guide first. It is free and it covers the timeline, the English requirement, and the maths paper.
