Ask the question you would rather not post publicly.
A group for expat parents doing this in real time: thinking about P1, waiting for a Phase 3 outcome, preparing for S-AEIS, or already inside a local school.
What actually happens in the group
- Deadline notes when an application window opens or closes.
- Plain answers to the questions people are embarrassed to ask, including the ones they have already asked three friends.
- Short sessions when a rule needs more than a message, such as the S-AEIS window or the Cambridge English requirement.
- Parents who have already done it, answering parents who are one step behind.
How to join
The link opens the WhatsApp group directly. No form, no waiting for an approval message.
Read the three rules first, then introduce yourself with your child’s level and where you are in the process. That is all anyone needs to answer you properly.
Join the WhatsApp groupWho it is for
Parents with a child between 4 and 12 who are considering a local school, waiting for a P1 outcome, preparing for AEIS or S-AEIS, or already inside the system and trying to work out what is normal.
It is also for parents who have already done it. The group works because someone one step behind can ask someone one step ahead.
It is not for agents, recruiters, or anyone collecting parents for a tuition centre. Those posts are removed.
Three rules
The group is free. These rules are why it stays useful.
- 01
No selling
No agents, no recruiters, no tuition centre promotions. If someone tries, they are removed.
- 02
No school gossip
Ask about a process, a rule, or a decision. Do not rank schools or repeat unverified claims about a teacher.
- 03
Keep other parents private
What is shared in the group stays in the group. No screenshots with names, no forwarding to other chats.
Prefer to talk first?
You do not need to join a group to ask a question. A free 20 to 30 minute call works too, and there is no obligation afterwards.
